Skate Like A Girl: Spooky Skate Meet-Up at Micklefield Skatepark FREE!
Join us for a Halloween-themed Skate Like A Girl session, our very first meet-up at Micklefield Skatepark! This project encourages women, girls, and minority genders to feel confident using outdoor skateparks on quad skates. Over the next year, we’ll be hosting 20 meet-ups across parks in the city, building a supportive and inclusive skate community. Funded by Leeds Community Foundation Micro Action Grants.
We’re proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly, and each event will clearly note whether allies (cis-men) are welcome. This one’s all about celebrating our spooky sisterhood on wheels, but we are welcoming allies at this one.
